Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis is seeking a full-time faculty member (Assistant or Associate Professor) with advanced training in interventional endoscopy, focusing on EUS, ERCP, and pancreatic disease.

About the Role

The successful candidate will develop a high-volume interventional endoscopy practice and contribute to the multidisciplinary management of patients with complex pancreaticobiliary disorders. Clinical responsibilities include outpatient clinics, inpatient consultation, and advanced endoscopic procedures at the main Washington University Medical Campus at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, the Center for Advanced Medicine, and regional locations within the greater St. Louis metropolitan area.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a high-volume interventional endoscopy practice
  • Participate in the multidisciplinary management of patients with complex pancreaticobiliary disorders
  • Conduct outpatient clinics and inpatient consultations
  • Perform advanced endoscopic procedures (EUS, ERCP) at multiple locations

Requirements

  • MD or equivalent professional medical degree
  • Board certified or board eligible in Gastroenterology
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited three-year Gastroenterology fellowship
  • Completion of a dedicated fourth-year Advanced Endoscopy fellowship with expertise in EUS and ERCP
  • Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Missouri
