About the role

The Center Medical Specialist performs physical examinations, assesses donor suitability, and builds rapport with donors to ensure satisfaction in a dynamic work environment within a growing organization focused on improving healthcare outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain donor confidentiality
• Educate donors on health and test results
• Manage injuries and adverse events
• Evaluate health histories
• Assist in employee training and vaccination programs
• Work independently and adapt to various conditions
• Handle confidential and potentially hazardous situations with sensitivity

Requirements

• Current licensure/certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
• CPR certification

• Manual dexterity and ability to perform precise movements
• Physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and working in various conditions
• Ability to work with exposure to biological fluids and cold environments while using appropriate PPE
