Position Information
- Position Title: Full-Time Dishroom Lead - Student Dining
- Job Description: Dishroom Lead must direct staff as well as work alongside employees in the dishroom. Operate equipment responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dishware, pots and pans. Adhere to policies and procedures, monitoring safety guidelines. Must stay till the end of shift to complete clean up.
- Required Qualifications: Must be reliable and able to work with little or no supervision. Ability to work with others. Must be able to effectively communicate with staff and management. Applicant must be currently authorized to work in the United States. Ashland University will not sponsor or take over sponsorship for an employment visa.
- Physical Demands: Bending, lifting, standing for long periods. Tolerance to extreme heat and humidity, working in and around kitchen environment. Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. continually.

- Inventory management, intense cleaning: Inventory all china, flatware, to ensure ample inventory at all times. Deep clean, glassware, china, plate and bowl carts during shut down.
