Full Time Dental Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate will be assisting with comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, with a focus on general dentistry.

Responsibilities

• Assist with comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, with a focus on general dentistry.
• Operate fully digital office using Open Dental practice management software.
• Perform routine dental procedures under the supervision of a dentist.
• Manage patient records and maintain accurate documentation.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience in a dental setting preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois Dental Assistant license or willing to obtain one within 6 months of employment.
• Proficiency with dental equipment and technology.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends.

Schedule

Mondays: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM, Tuesdays: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Wednesdays: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM. Thursdays: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Fridays: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM and two Saturdays a month from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
