About the role

Provide specialized support in the Cardiovascular Operating Room, assisting with surgical procedures and ensuring patient safety. Maintain a sterile environment, handle variable on-call duties, and work scheduled shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support surgical teams during cardiovascular procedures
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and sterile techniques
• Facilitate efficient OR operations and coordinate with healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC
• Demonstrate competency in cardiovascular surgical procedures

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Tech
• Current BLS certification
• Required licensure (no BSN required)
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgeries and acute care settings
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to on-call responsibilities
