Full-time Custodian (Night Shift)

About the Role

The Lead Custodian on the night shift ensures a safe, clean, and inviting environment for students by supervising custodial staff, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting building operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise night custodians and communicate with the Day Lead custodian about building needs and events.
• Assist in scheduling staff for various activities and special events.
• Ensure proper handling of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.
• Perform thorough cleaning, inspect facilities, and provide feedback for maintenance.
• Move furniture, replace light bulbs, and keep grounds free of debris.
• Assist with snow and ice removal and supervise summer cleaning cycles.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by administrators.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and climb ladders.
• Strong communication, safety awareness, and supervisory skills.

Pay

Starting pay at $16.10/hour.

Schedule

178 days per year, 8 hours daily without a lunch break.
