Full Time Custodian - Afternoon/Evening

About the Role

This is a full-time afternoon/evening custodial position responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety in school buildings and grounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning (floors, walls, windows, carpets)
• Grounds-keeping and snow removal
• Maintain and repair equipment
• Set up and support events
• Assist with deliveries, trash removal, and recycling
• Conduct safety checks and secure buildings
• Support visitors during events
• Perform repairs and assist during school activities
• Support other tasks as directed by supervisors

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior cleaning or maintenance experience preferred
• Must follow safety protocols and operate hand and power tools
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Physical ability to work at heights and outdoors
• Transportation capability is required

Work Environment & Safety

Work involves exposure to chemicals, cleaning agents, and outdoor elements. Use of safety gear and adherence to safety procedures are mandatory.
