Evening Custodian Full-Time

Terms of Employment

12 month full-time position: Evening Shift (3–11 p.m.); available September 7, 2026.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of cleaning and sanitary methods, materials, tools, and school-related equipment.
• Black Seal License preferred or must be obtained within two years of employment.
• No experience necessary; will train.

Responsibilities

• Preventive maintenance of building and grounds area
• Sweeping, dusting, damp mopping, scrubbing, washing, cleaning, buffing
• Disposing of refuse
• Clean walkways
• Snow removal
• Opening and securing buildings
• Any other duties assigned by the Head Custodian or supervisory personnel

Compensation

In compliance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Law, the salary range for this position is $43,720 to $58,035.
