Full-Time Crisis Support Teacher Aide (Pool of positions)

Responsibilities

• Assists in supporting the educational and emotional needs of students, providing direct intervention and assistance to those experiencing behavioral or emotional crises.
• Helps maintain a safe and supportive school environment through de-escalation strategies, positive behavior reinforcement, and collaboration with staff.
• Serves as an active member of the school's crisis response team to help ensure timely and effective student support.

Locations

• Crane Elementary School (Grades K–3)
• Winslow Elementary School (Grades PreK–3)
• Vollmer Elementary School (Grades 4–6)

Pay

$25.00 – $30.75 per hour, based on experience, plus full-time benefits per RHEA, Coalition Unit, Paraprofessionals Chapter.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required, plus one year of experience working with children or 30 college credit hours.
• Must complete Therapeutic Crisis Intervention Training.
