About the role
Nassau BOCES is seeking Teacher Aides for various programs across the Department of Special Education. Full-time positions are available.
Responsibilities
- Support the teacher in implementing specialized programs to meet individual student goals and needs
- Provide instructional support and classroom organization
- Perform data collection
- Assist in all tasks of daily living and behavior modification
- Daily living skills may include feeding, toileting, mobility, etc.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Experience with students with disabilities is highly desired
