Full-time Content (Math) Teacher - New York Campus

About the role

The Content Teacher (Math) at Winston Preparatory School will be responsible for delivering high-quality math instruction to students in grades 9-12. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the academic success of students and support their development as critical thinkers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the Common Core State Standards
• Provide differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
• Assess student learning through formative and summative assessments
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary units and activities
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or related field
• A master’s degree in Education or related field preferred
• At least three years of teaching experience at the secondary level
• Strong knowledge of current educational theories and practices
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and diverse environment

Pay

The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $95,000 annually.

Schedule

The Content Teacher (Math) will work a standard school schedule, typically Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
