(Full-Time): Content Developer / Editor (Senior Level)

About the Role

Hoplite Group is seeking an experienced Content Developer / Editor (Senior Level) to support a SOCOM awarded contract providing comprehensive, integrated analytical, operational, and informational support. The Content Developer / Editor will provide senior-level editorial oversight, quality assurance, and content guidance to ensure written products are accurate, consistent, aligned with established messaging and brand standards, and responsive to mission objectives.

Responsibilities

• Review articles and other written materials for accuracy, clarity, consistency, quality, and adherence to established editorial and brand standards.
• Provide editorial guidance and coach writers on content requirements, messaging, brand alignment, voice, and overall quality.
• Conduct quality assessments of copy-edited material prior to final publication.
• Work closely with Content Managers, writers, and other team members to ensure the accurate, consistent, and timely delivery of content while maintaining established daily, weekly, and monthly production goals and deadlines.
• Provide senior-level editorial review and feedback to ensure final products support mission and client objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Previous experience supporting U.S. Northern Command (USNORTHCOM) missions, organizations, or staff activities.
• Demonstrated professional experience in writing, editing, journalism, communications, publishing, content development, or a closely related field.
• Experience collaborating with content managers, writers, editors, and other content-production professionals while managing multiple products and competing deadlines.
• Strong written communication, editing, organizational, editorial judgment, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Current Department of War (DoW) TS/SCI clearance.
