Senior Helpers of Chatham County is hiring compassionate, dependable CNAs and experienced caregivers to support seniors in their homes throughout Savannah, the Islands, and Pooler. We have a variety of clients and schedules, and we work to match your skills and availability with the right opportunities. We’re looking for caregivers seeking full-time hours—30 or more hours per week. Day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts may be available. What makes a top performer? Shows up on time and avoids last-minute callouts Completes clear, accurate care notes Earns positive client feedback Responds promptly to communications Supports the team by picking up open shifts What you’ll do Build positive relationships through conversation and companionship Support personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming Assist with walking, mobility, and transfers Prepare meals and provide medication reminders Help with light housekeeping, transportation, and errands Share updates and report changes in a client’s condition Support clients living with dementia using a positive approach Pay, training, and benefits Base pay: $16-$17 per hour for 4-12-hour shifts Top-performer bonus: $2+ more per hour for the pay period Training opportunities and certifications may qualify you for additional pay increases, including Senior Gems Alzheimer’s and dementia training and more Paid mileage Paid orientation and training Holiday pay at time-and-a-half Direct deposit Referral program What you’ll need One of the following: Current CNA certification, or At least two years of professional caregiving experience with a licensed home care provider Also required: Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance Current CPR/First Aid certification Current TB test Ability to pass background and drug screenings Comfort using a smartphone for scheduling and communication If you’re compassionate, reliable, and looking for 30 or more hours of caregiving work per week in Savannah, the Islands, or Pooler, we’d like to meet you.
