About the role

Coastal Welding Supply, an AWG Company, has an immediate opening for a Class B CDL Delivery Driver in Liberty, TX. This position requires a Class A CDL with HazMat & Tanker endorsements.

Responsibilities

Loading, unloading, moving and storage of gas and liquid cylinders and other hard good supplies
Making deliveries to customers or other branches and filling out delivery tickets completely and accurately
Reading, understanding and following all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
Complying with all DOT and OSHA Regulations
Moving, loading, and unloading empty/full cylinders safely and efficiently
Ensuring appropriate preparation and/or completion and accuracy of paperwork including but not limited to shipping papers and delivery tickets
Maintaining cleanliness of vehicle
Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications

High School graduate or equivalent
Class B CDL Required with Hazmat and Tanker endorsement or the ability to obtain both endorsements
Clean driving record
Able to read and write English
Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; Lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders (rolling, using a cart, etc.)
Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, Back Assessment and company administered road test
Ability to communicate with customers
