About the role
Covenant Living of Colorado in Westminster, CO, invites you to join our dynamic therapy team as a Full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed therapists in providing occupational therapy services to residents.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Provide direct patient care, including teaching and modeling activities to promote independence and participation in daily activities.
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and new techniques.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
- Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
