About the role

Givens Estates is a premier senior living community in Asheville, NC, situated near the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Biltmore Estate. We are seeking a Full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic therapy team.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
• Implement occupational therapy interventions to improve daily living skills
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive resident care
• Document progress and communicate with residents, families, and other healthcare providers

Requirements

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Experience working with older adults preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of occupational therapy principles
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for providing compassionate and innovative care
