About the Role
We are seeking highly motivated and qualified part time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA / C.N.A.) to join our nursing department. The Neville Center at Fresh Pond offers a competitive rate, generous shift differentials for afternoons, nights and weekends, weekly pay, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and outstanding time off.
Responsibilities
- Provides care to participants as directed and as outlined in the plan of care.
- Aids participants with activities of daily living and/or provides all necessary care for participants who are dependent.
- Utilizes nursing assistant techniques to provide care to participants in a manner that promotes as much individual independence as possible.
- Applies knowledge of infection control, fire and disaster policies as needed.
- Participates in continuing education and meets the requirements for annual in-service participation.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the Massachusetts.
- Must be able to read, write and understand English.
- Basic math skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
