Full Time Certified Nurse Midwife - Chesapeake, VA

About the role

Unified Women's Healthcare is the leading national platform for women's healthcare. Our affiliated practice, TotalCare for Women, is seeking a Full Time Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM).

• Well established practice with a great team of experienced physicians
• Excellent mentorship available to new graduates
• Practice consists of 3 OB/GYNs, 3 CNMs, 2 NPs
• Patient census: 20-25 per day, approximately 60 births per month
• Full autonomy
• Call schedule 1:4 (one call per week, 5 weekends per year) – shared weekend call with 11 physicians at sister care centers; all call triaged through CNMs/Hospitalist
• Affiliated with Chesapeake Regional Medical Center
• In-house lab and some surgery with anesthesia in office
• Could be licensed in both NC and VA – 4 care centers (2 in VA, 2 in NC)

Requirements

• AMCB Certified Nurse-Midwife
• Graduate of a nurse-midwifery education program accredited by the ACNM Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME)
• Master's degree in Nursing (MS/MSN)
