About the Role

Provide anesthesia under an anesthesiologist's supervision for various surgical and diagnostic procedures, including cardio-thoracic surgeries and catheterizations. Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia safely during diverse procedures.
• Assist in clinical teaching of anesthesia students.
• Ensure adherence to safety and clinical standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.
• Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association.
