Full Time Certified Nurse Aide

About the role

Visiting Angels of Bryan is hiring a Full Time Certified Nurse Aide to support clients throughout the Central Texas area, including Brenham, Bellville, Somerville, Whitman, Wilcox, Snook, College Station, and many others.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Perform light housekeeping tasks
• Encourage and support clients in meeting exercise and fitness goals
• Prompt clients to take prescription medications on schedule
• Assist with grocery shopping and putting away groceries
• Plan and prepare meals in collaboration with clients based on their abilities
• Assist clients with mobility and ambulation, including transportation to appointments and walks
• Act quickly and appropriately in medical emergencies, reporting health changes or unusual circumstances

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent time-management skills
• Reliable transportation to client visits
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• Training or knowledge in First Aid and emergency response
• Compassion and willingness to support vulnerable individuals seeking companionship
• Willingness to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards
