Full Time Certified Nurse Aide

About the role

Visiting Angels of Bryan is hiring a Full Time Certified Nurse Aide to support clients throughout Central Texas, including Hearne, Bryan, College Station, Brenham, Madisonville, Huntsville, Caldwell, and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Provide light housekeeping support
• Encourage and assist with exercise and fitness goals
• Prompt clients to take prescription medications on schedule
• Help with grocery shopping, putting away groceries, or shopping for clients
• Plan and prepare meals in collaboration with clients based on ability
• Assist with mobility and ambulation, including transportation to appointments and walks
• Act quickly and report health changes or unusual circumstances in medical emergencies

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent time-management skills
• Reliable transportation to client visits
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• Training or knowledge in First Aid and emergency response
• Compassion for vulnerable individuals seeking meaningful companionship
• Willingness to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards
