Responsibilities
- Demonstrate an exemplary level of understanding and competency in dialysis principles and biomedical equipment maintenance.
- Maintain and repair all aspects of machines, equipment, and water treatment systems.
- Work independently and collaborate with other team members to solve problems and maintain physical plant.
- Maintain logs and documentation in accordance with infection control policies and procedures.
- Communicate significant information to biomedical team members and document accurately.
- Report directly to the Regional Biomedical Services Manager.
- Exposure to chemicals and blood-borne pathogens; routine use of medical and standard office equipment.
- Physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, handling objects up to 50 pounds, and using both medical and standard office equipment.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED preferred. Two years of dialysis biomedical experience, and a certificate of repair for equipment being utilized are preferred qualifications.
Qualifications
- Two years of dialysis biomedical experience.
- Previous Acute, Outpatient, and/or SNF dialysis biomedical machine repair experience.
- Certificate of repair for equipment being utilized.
Skills
- Understanding of dialysis principles and biomedical equipment maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Problem-solving skills to repair failed biomedical equipment and systems.
- Knowledge of infection control policies and procedures.
- Effective communication and documentation skills.

Pay
$30.00 - $36.00 per hour depending on experience.
