How You Will Spend Your Time
All Philadelphia Distilling Bartenders split their time between bar and floor service. This ensures that every guest receives service from a capable and informed cocktail bartender even if they are not sitting at the bar.
Provide an exceptional guest experience and connect with visitors through brand education and cocktails elections from our seasonal menu or curated off-menu drinks, while always maintaining a positive guest/customer relation.
Develop and maintain knowledge of fall Philadelphia Distilling products, along with classic and modern classic cocktail understanding.
Execute proper bartending techniques while preparing a wide variety of cocktails, ensuring accuracy in recipes, garnishes, ingredients, portion sizes, replication, and presentation to the standards of our cocktail program.
Work together with the rest of the front-of-house team and maintaining efficient work pace to ensure guest satisfaction.
Help develop new bar offerings such as new seasonal cocktails and specials.
Maintain the highest health standards, hygiene, sanitation and cleanliness in the beverage/bar area to meet local, state and government guidelines.
Strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated individuals, and driving while under the influence.
Participate in continuous training and educational opportunities to further develop brand advocacy concepts. This involves seasonal menu testing and practice rounds to ensure thorough product knowledge and cocktail creation efficiency.
Who You Are...
- Required Skills and Experience
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a craft-cocktail bartending role
RAMP certified or willingness to attain RAMP certification within 90 days of hiring
Proven mastery of craft cocktail theory and execution as well as a solid fundamental knowledge of spirits and distillation
Service Oriented Mindset—proactive in looking for ways to help guests and other staff members
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey information effectively, from the guest and staff prospective
Comfortable in cooperative team environments as well as working alone
Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends is required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
Ability to operate and input orders into a point-of-sale (POS) system.

- Speak, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, reach with hands and arms.
- Able to safely lift and carry a service tray containing beverages and remove empty glassware or flatware from tables.
- Ability to stand/work for up to 8 hours.
