Full Time Bartender $10/hr + tips

Description

Valley Hill Country Club is seeking an experienced, professional Bartender to join their Food & Beverage team. The position offers full-time employment within one of Huntsville's premier private clubs, providing outstanding service during daily dining, tournaments, weddings, banquets, and special events.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Club recipes and service standards.
• Deliver friendly, attentive, and personalized service to Members and guests.
• Build relationships with Members while creating a welcoming bar atmosphere.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout each shift.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stocking liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and supplies.
• Process Member charges accurately through the Club's POS system.
• Verify identification and comply with all Alabama ABC laws and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Assist with restaurant service, banquets, weddings, golf tournaments, and other Club events.
• Work closely with servers, barbacks, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth, efficient service.
• Complete opening and closing duties, including cleaning, stocking, and securing the bar.
• Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and Club service standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the Food & Beverage team.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Strong bartending experience is required.
• Experience in a private club, fine dining restaurant, upscale bar, or luxury hospitality environment is strongly preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and classic cocktails.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, tournaments, weddings, and Club events.
