Full-Time Banker

About the role

This position involves delivering high-quality, accurate customer service through daily processing of financial transactions and account management in a retail banking environment. It includes introducing bank products, conducting outbound sales calls, and supporting banking center operations to meet sales and referral goals.

Responsibilities

• Perform teller duties such as deposits, currency handling, and check cashing, along with platform support like opening checking, savings, and deposit accounts.
• Identify client needs via consultative conversations, recommend suitable products, and process new accounts including IRAs and certificates of deposit.
• Conduct outbound calls to clients and prospects, participate in campaigns, and assist with loan applications by coordinating with relevant staff.
• Resolve client inquiries, ensure excellent customer experiences, and stay informed on products and services through ongoing training.
• Support daily operations, assist with audits, and help train new associates, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal controls.
• No supervisory responsibilities are required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, 10‑key calculators, and coin counters.
• Background checks and compliance with licensing regulations are necessary.
