About the role

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our team in Reno, NV and surrounding areas. We offer a unique opportunity to practice in-home, compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families
• Work flexible 2-5 day-per-week schedules
• Enjoy an average of 3-4 un-rushed appointments per day
• Practice medicine that fills your heart and aligns with your values

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Valid U.S. driver's license
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance

Qualifications

• Experience in in-home hospice and euthanasia care preferred
• Strong communication and empathy skills
• Ability to manage stress and maintain emotional balance

Skills

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working independently and in a team environment

Pay

• 4-day positions starting at $75,000
• 5-day positions offering a base salary of $90,000
