About the role

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our team in Salem, OR and surrounding areas. We offer flexible 2-5 day-per-week schedules, compassionate hospice and euthanasia care, and a supportive community of veterinarians and support professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families
• Enjoy freedom beyond the walls of a traditional clinic
• Work with a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals
• Receive ongoing training, personalized mentorship, and access to a 24/7/365 Support Center

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Valid U.S. driver's license
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance

Qualifications

• Experience in hospice and euthanasia care preferred
• Strong communication and empathy skills

Skills

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

• 4-day positions starting at $85,000 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $100,000, plus additional bonus opportunities
