About the role

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our team in Harrisburg, PA and surrounding areas. We are a veterinary hospice and euthanasia service that provides compassionate care for pets and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families
• Work flexible 2-5 day-per-week schedules
• Enjoy an average of 3-4 un-rushed appointments per day
• Practice medicine that fills your heart and aligns with your values
• Receive ongoing training, personalized mentorship, and support from experienced leaders

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Valid U.S. driver's license
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date

Qualifications

• Experience in hospice and euthanasia care preferred
• Strong communication and empathy skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Pay

• 4-day positions starting at $85,000 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $100,000, plus additional bonus opportunities
• 3-day full-time and part-time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule
