Full Time Assistant Teacher - Flexible Schedule

About the role

The Goddard School in Rochester, MI is seeking assistant teachers to join our team. Positions are available for infants, toddlers, or preschoolers in a full day childcare and preschool environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and lessons
• Observe children’s interests and work with other teachers to develop a curriculum
• Communicate with parents through various means such as mobile apps and personal discussions
• Engage with other infant, toddler, and preschool teachers to continue professional growth

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with children in a childcare setting preferred
• Ability to follow strict health and safety guidelines
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with children and adults

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills
