Full-Time Assistant Manager

Responsibilities

• In partnership with the Store Manager, ensure the store achieves company objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Lead the team in maintaining operational excellence by balancing company policies, procedures, shrink/loss prevention, payroll, reporting, and scheduling
• Recruit, develop, and train top talent who are sales, customer, and fashion-focused
• Set the example for The Torrid Connection and ensure the team provides a shopping experience that encourages positive customer connections and loyalty
• Support the Store Manager in implementing merchandise strategies and maintaining a clean, consistent, and inviting store environment that inspires customers to shop
• Maintain an effective and open line of communication with the Store Manager and District Manager

Requirements

• At least six months of specialty/apparel retail management experience with proven ability to lead teams to success and proven sales performance
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment while creating an amazing customer experience
• Flexibility and adaptability to any situation, environment, challenges, job duties, and work schedules are essential
• Fashion and retail are constantly evolving, so staying updated on current trends is crucial

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand and walk around during scheduled shifts
• Able to pack and unpack shipments, arrange and move store fixtures, and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs
• Able to reach for merchandise using ladders, step stools, merchandise retrieving poles, and shoe poles

Pay Range

$18.10 - $24.05 per hour
