About the role
We’re looking for a Full-Time Assistant Manager to lead our pop culture-driven brand and support our mission of eliminating hunger. You’ll work closely with the Store Manager to achieve sales targets, recruit and develop a team, and manage operations.
Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in achieving sales and comp sales goals
- Recruit, develop, and retain a passionate team
- Create buzz and engage customers through promotions and social media
- Lead operations, balancing autonomy and customer-first practices
- Monitor shrink/loss prevention, payroll hours, and schedules
- Communicate with retail leadership and HQ partners on trends and customer feedback
- Run sales reports and use data to guide strategies
- Messure and merchandise the store, launching promotions on time
Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of retail store management experience
- Passion for philanthropy and pop culture
- Experience leading teams to success
- Skills in communication, recruiting, operations (payroll, reporting, scheduling, merchandising)
- Ability to develop team members
- Able to navigate the store, merchandise product, and pack/unpack boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
- At least 18 years of age
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Open to learning and adapting to a fast-changing industry
