About the role

We’re looking for a Full-Time Assistant Manager to lead our store in achieving sales targets, recruiting, and developing a passionate team. You’ll support the Store Manager in creating buzz and engaging customers, managing operations, and leading your team to success.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in achieving sales and comp sales goals
  • Recruit, develop, and retain a team to run the store
  • Create buzz and engage customers through promotions, social media, and BOPIS/Curbside Pickup
  • Lead the store's operations, balancing autonomy and customer-first practices
  • Monitor shrink/loss prevention, payroll hours, and associate schedules
  • Communicate with retail leadership and HQ partners on trends and customer feedback
  • Run sales reports and use data to guide strategies
  • Mercandise the store in a compelling way, launching promotions on time
  • Develop a high-performing, customer-focused team

Requirements

  • At least 1-2 years of retail store management experience
  • Passion for philanthropy and pop culture
  • Skills in communication, recruiting, operations (payroll, reporting, scheduling, merchandising), and team development
  • Able to navigate the store, merchandise product, and pack/unpack boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to manage fast-changing retail environments and handle unexpected challenges
