Full-Time Assistant Manager

About the role

BoxLunch is dedicated to using pop culture to fight hunger by donating meals to Feeding America for each $10 spent. We are seeking a Full-Time Assistant Manager who can lead our mission-driven brand.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and comp sales goals
• Recruit, develop, and retain a collaborative and passionate team
• Create buzz and engage customers through promotions, social media, and additional benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup
• Lead operations, balancing efficiency, autonomy, and customer service
• Monitor shrink, loss prevention, payroll, and schedules
• Communicate with retail leadership and HQ partners on trends and customer feedback
• Run sales reports and use data to guide strategies
• Merchandise the store according to planograms and launch promotions on time

Requirements

• At least 1-2 years of retail store management experience
• Passion for philanthropy and pop culture
• Leadership skills to motivate and develop teams
• Communication, recruiting, operations, and customer-focused selling abilities
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Average weight lifting capacity of up to 50 pounds
• At least 18 years of age
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent

Benefits

BoxLunch offers competitive compensation, including a starting hourly rate of $22.20 - $26.65, with potential for growth based on performance and qualifications.

Schedule

Hours vary based on store needs and may include evening and weekend shifts.
