Full-Time Advanced EMT - Nashua, NH - Located in Nashua, NH

Responsibilities

• Provide an assessment of patients, determine necessary care and deliver emergency services.
• Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Apply splints, administer oxygen or intravenous injections, treat minor wounds or abrasions, or perform artificial resuscitation.
• Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws.
• Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other allied health and public safety personnel.
• Perform cleaning procedures, use office equipment and tools, and manage medical equipment.
• Participate in community programs to enhance AMR's image and foster strong community relations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State Driver’s License.
• State certified Advanced EMT.
• CPR/BLS certifications.
• Driving record in compliance with company policy.
• Pass a physical agility test.

Qualifications

Some work experience, preferably in healthcare.

Skills

Advanced EMT skills, including communications, medical equipment use, cleaning procedures, and office equipment management.

Benefits

Compensation range: $21.23 - $24.85 per hour depending on experience.
