Responsibilities
- Provide an assessment of patients, determine necessary care and deliver emergency services.
- Treat patients using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
- Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
- Apply splints, administer oxygen or intravenous injections, treat minor wounds or abrasions, or perform artificial resuscitation.
- Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with patients, other health professionals, and public safety personnel.
- Perform cleaning procedures, use office equipment and tools as needed.
- Participate in community programs to enhance AMR's image and build strong community relationships.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- State Driver’s License.
- State certified Advanced EMTC.
- CPR/BLS certifications.
- Passing driving record in compliance with company policy.
- Pass Physical Agility Test.
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare.
