Responsibilities

• Care Giver:

  • Responsible for a group of residents during shifts; checks on them regularly.
  • Observes and documents changes in residents' conditions.
  • Notifies supervisors of increased care needs.
  • Maintains cleanliness and hygiene in resident rooms and work areas.
  • Supports residents in daily activities and engages them in activities.
  • Greets and assists visitors and team members.
  • Performs resident laundry as assigned.

• Medication Tech:

  • Reviews service plans and assists with medications.
  • Documents medications given and reports concerns.
  • Maintains confidentiality and cleanliness of medication areas.
  • Participates in service plan development and updates.
  • Takes vital signs and reports occupational exposures.
  • Completes other tasks as directed.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Certified Nurse's Aid certification.

• Required: High School diploma or GED, 18 years of age.

• Preferred: CPR and First Aid certifications.

• Experience with seniors preferred.
