Full Time 2 year old Childcare Teacher

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and performance of curriculum within the preschool classroom at their facility to a TRS 4-star level
• Collaborate with the Program Director at their facility to deliver strong leadership and execution of site-level priorities and programmatic objectives
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom where everyone feels valued and respected
• Foster positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues, and serve as a positive role model for staff
• Manage activities like lessons, play, breaks, and meals

Qualifications

• Child Development Associate degree or equivalent in education or a related field
• 3+ years of experience as a 2 year old teacher or assistant teacher in an early childhood education
• 3+ years total experience onsite in a Texas-licensed early education center
• Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum implementation, classroom preparation and management, and age-appropriate conscious discipline
• Demonstrated knowledge of accreditations, including Texas Rising Star and National Association for the Education of Young Children
• Demonstrated ability to execute classroom observations, assessments, development plans
• Strong leadership, mentorship, and partnership skills with other site level administration
• Ability to analyze and interpret student data to inform instructional decisions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Pay

$13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Schedule

8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
