Full-Time, 12 Month Head Custodian - 2nd Shift

The Dallastown Area School District is seeking a Full‑Time, 12‑Month 2nd Shift Head Custodian for Dallastown Area Intermediate School. This role supports a clean and safe environment that is essential to the district’s mission of inspiring student success.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning and maintenance in school buildings and grounds.
• Maintain custodial equipment in functional condition.
• Provide cleaning and custodial assistance to students, teachers, visitors, and others as necessary.

Requirements

• Five years of experience in custodial work.
• Knowledge of various cleaning chemicals and ability to operate/use custodial equipment.
• Strong supervisory background with leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to function in a team environment with multiple lines of authority.
• Ability to grasp and use new methods and technology related to custodial services, including web‑based HVAC controls.
• Demonstrated cooperative work style and an acceptable record of attendance.
