2nd Shift Full-Time Head Custodian
About the Role
This vacancy is for a Full-Time 2nd Shift Head Custodian position that allows you to use your cleaning skills to provide our students and staff with a clean learning environment as well as manage a staff of custodians within the building. We value the services that our custodial staff provide to the school district.
The position is located at Susquehannock High School.

Southern York County School District is a high-performing district serving approximately 2,900 students K-12 located in south-central Pennsylvania. Responsibilities
- Manage a staff of custodians within the building
- Provide a clean learning environment for students and staff
- Complete essential job functions and meet position specifications as outlined in the job description
Requirements
- Experience as a custodian preferred
- Ability to obtain PA Child Abuse History Clearance
- Ability to obtain PA Criminal Record Check
- Ability to obtain Federal Criminal History Record (FBI fingerprinting)
- Compliance with Act 168 of 2014 requirements
Pay
Starting at $21.50 per hour plus a $0.30 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift, based on experience.
Schedule
- Full-time, 2nd shift: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday
- 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, 12 months per year
- Paid lunch included
- Periodic overtime required on weekends
- Summer shifts may vary
