Full Stack Web Developer - US Remote
About the Role
Sagentic Web Design is seeking a motivated Full Stack Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain complex web applications for a range of clients, including small and medium-sized businesses, local government agencies, and nonprofit organizations. The ideal candidate will have strong PHP and MySQL/MySQLi experience, solid full-stack web development skills, and the ability to solve technical challenges while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex web applications using PHP, MySQL/MySQLi, and related technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and resolve technical challenges.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable code using established development best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and design reviews to maintain software quality.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for software systems.
- Stay current with emerging web technologies, frameworks, and programming languages.
- Manage multiple development projects and priorities effectively.
- Contribute to the continued improvement of web applications and development processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of professional web development experience.
- Experience with modern web development technologies and frameworks.
- Experience with PHP and MySQL/MySQLi.
- Knowledge of database design and development.
- Experience with database technologies such as MySQL/MySQLi or MariaDB.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Laravel.
- Experience with Node.js.
- Previous experience working remotely.
