About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Web Developer to join our Engineering Systems team. Reporting directly to the Head of Engineering Systems, this role is pivotal in supporting ongoing projects and expanding our technological capabilities through the development of scripts, integrations, and modern web applications. As a remote-based position, the successful candidate will collaborate with a global team of engineering specialists to enhance our enterprise platforms, including CAD, PDM, and related systems. Your primary responsibilities will include building scalable, efficient, and innovative solutions that streamline engineering workflows and improve system integrations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support project delivery, automate processes, and support database management, contributing to the continuous improvement of our engineering infrastructure. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence the future of critical power solutions through technology innovation and system optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience as a Full Stack Web Developer
- Strong expertise in Node.js development
- Solid experience with PowerShell scripting
- Proficiency in REST API development and integration
- Knowledge of modern web technologies including HTML and CSS
- Experience with testing frameworks, code review, and release management processes
- Working knowledge of SQL scripting and database management
- Experience with Autodesk platforms, applications, and their APIs
- Familiarity with PDM/PLM systems, BIM360, or Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) is a plus
- Knowledge of Python programming is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scripts and API integrations across CAD, PDM, and related engineering platforms
- Build and enhance full-stack web applications using Node.js to support business operations
- Create and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate workflows and support existing applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver engineering system projects effectively
- Take ownership of development activities, ensuring quality and timely delivery
- Support and improve development processes, including version control (GitHub), Azure DevOps, and testing frameworks
- Work with databases, supporting SQL-related tasks and data management
- Leverage Autodesk Forge and other APIs for system integrations and custom solutions
- Provide technical guidance and training to team members to foster skill development
- Identify opportunities for system improvements, automation, and process optimization
