Full Stack SW Engineer with Security Clearance

About the role

ZETA Associates is seeking a Full-Stack Developer to join a dynamic team in Fairfax, VA. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying applications, microservices, APIs, and web applications within a DevSecOps-enabled hybrid cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a small team to implement innovative solutions for a new mission processing environment.
• Utilize a variety of technology stacks including Spring Boot, React, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm charts, OpenFaaS, MinIO, Keycloak, Quarkus, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, MongoDB, CI/CD pipelines, Anaconda, Kibana, and others.
• Contribute to the design and execution of a new mission area, introducing new ideas and technologies.
• Develop and maintain applications across multiple tiers (client, server, and data).
• Work independently to develop subtasks and approaches to meet task objectives.
• Learn and adapt to new tools, frameworks, and technologies to support the customer's mission and user needs.
• Ensure compliance with development best practices, configuration management, and testing standards.
• Comfortable with the Linux operating system and able to work independently.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science
• At least 5 years’ experience developing with Java
• At least 5 years’ experience in Full-stack software development (client, server, and data tiers)
• At least 5 years’ experience working with Object Relational Mapping (ORM) or NoSQL databases
• At least 1 years’ experience with containerization and orchestration platforms
• Strong understanding of development best practices, configuration management, and testing
• Strong desire to constantly learn and contribute to the team
• Active TS/SCI clearance preferred

Qualifications

• Proven capability to learn new skills and adapt to shifting priorities and requirements
• Experience utilizing Test Driven Development

Skills

• Strong Full-stack development experience
• Familiarity with containerization and application security
