Responsibilities
- Code, develop, integrate, and debug software artifacts in support of innovative geospatial solutions.
- Write validation tests against existing baselines to ensure code integrity throughout Agile development efforts.
- Assist with unit testing, programming, and developing in Python, Java Spring, and other modern frameworks.
Requirements
- Proficient in software development and integration projects within a service-oriented environment (Cloud, SOA, Web Services)
- Experience working with GNU-based compilers
- Hands-on programming experience in C++, Java, TypeScript, and Bash
- Development experience with Spring/Gradle/OpenJDK and React/Node frameworks
- Hands-on experience with relational and non-relational database systems such as Amazon RDS and Postgres
- Strong coding experience in Python
- Experience using GitLab for version control, CI/CD pipelines, and resource management
- Experience using Docker to package and run applications
- Experience with web-related protocols and technologies, including web servers, HTTP, and SSL
- Familiarity with AWS and cloud technologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with team collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance
- DoD 8570-compliant certification (e.g., Security+)
- Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent relevant experience in lieu of a degree
