Full Stack Software Engineer Senior - Top Secret Clearance

About the role

The Arctic Gates program within Lockheed Martin Space is expanding its team of full stack software engineers to meet customer needs. The team will develop and integrate new Operational C2 systems in a virtual cloud environment, collaborating closely with other mission partners to deliver a fully integrated system.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to implementing software features to create new systems
• Define and implement application programming interfaces (APIs) as part of the microservices architecture
• Utilize modern web frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and automated unit tests to develop cloud systems meeting enterprise milestones
• Participate in the entire software engineering lifecycle, from low-level coding to full system functionality
• Shape the system design and work closely with the Customer
• Gain new domain knowledge through hands-on experience

Requirements

• Programming Languages/scripting: JavaScript/Node, C#
• Modern Web Frameworks: Angular/React/Vue.js/Ember.js
• GitLab pipeline for software projects
• Top Secret security clearance, with either SCI or other special program access
• Average of 5+ years of experience in software development
• Experience working in a Top Secret environment
• Agile scrum experience and proficiency with Agile tools (Jira, Version One, Confluence)

Qualifications

• Automated testing experience, including identifying scenarios where unit tests versus integration tests would be useful
• Containerization experience
• UI Design: CSS, Astro UX, Material Design
• Creation of an API used by others (e.g., REST API, message broker-based API)
• REST or gRPC experience
