Responsibilities
- Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities including design, development, documentation, testing, and debugging of software solutions.
- Apply appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Verify software requirements using tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure software solutions meet business needs.
- Analyze system capabilities, resolve questions of program intent, correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, and compile documentation.
Requirements
- Hands-on software engineering in Java and/or TypeScript/Angular.
- Software requirements verification using tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Scrum/Agile software development processes.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret security clearance required.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Angular front-end development.
- Java back-end development.
- Kubernetes container orchestration.
- Docker containerization.
- Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools including Git, Jenkins, and Puppet.
- SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) processes.
- JEE/Spring framework development.
- RESTful and/or SOAP web services.
- JSON and XML data formats.
- AI prompting techniques applied to software engineering workflows.
