About the role
Rippling provides a unified platform for businesses to manage HR, IT, and Finance operations. The platform consolidates various workforce systems such as payroll, expenses, benefits, and IT resources into a single system.
Responsibilities
- Tackle important projects and solve complex problems
- Develop robust, well-designed products and implement new updates and features
- Think critically and apply knowledge to real-world problems
- Participate in team meetings to scope, drive, and progress projects
- Learn about the business and the impact of your team and related projects
- Attend Meet & Greets with various executives and teams
- Foster relationships with your intern cohort and teams through social events and company-wide events
Requirements
- Previous internship/Co-op experience in software engineering, specifically in the backend with Python and the frontend using JavaScript and HTML/CSS
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in computer science or a related field with a graduation date after the completion of the internship
- Excellent communication skills to work cross-functionally and across departments
- Solid frontend programming skills with an emphasis on backend experience and knowledge
- Ability to adapt and ask action-oriented questions to progress
- Passion and drive to constantly learn and develop engineering skills
Qualifications
- Experience with software engineering
- Knowledge of backend technologies (Python)
- Skills in frontend technologies (JavaScript, HTML/CSS)
