Full Stack Software Engineer

About the role

This role requires a senior full stack developer who can develop software and systems from vision to production ready. You'll use your skills to solve problems and improve systems, working with clients to overcome their toughest challenges.

Responsibilities

• Develop software solutions from concept to production
• Use TDD practices to ensure code quality
• Containerize applications using Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, or Helm charts
• Work with clients to understand and implement their needs
• Ensure solutions consider current architecture and future enhancements

Requirements

• Experience with object-oriented programming languages
• Experience with Linux operating systems such as RHEL
• Experience with interpreted languages like Python
• Experience with test-driven development (TDD)
• Experience with containerization technologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 14+ years of experience with software engineering, or 18+ years in lieu of a degree

Skills

• Experience with Go programming language and concurrent or parallel processing patterns
• Experience with TypeScript and Angular framework for web application development
• Experience with stream processing systems such as Kafka, Redis Streams, AMQP, Redpanda Connect, or Benthos
• Experience with web accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.1
• Experience with cloud technologies and concepts including AWS
• Experience with agentic development workflows and AI-assisted coding tools
• Experience with the Atlassian suite of tools for project management such as Jira or Confluence

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).

Schedule

Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
