Full Stack Software Developer

About the Role

We're working with a leading federal client to enhance and maintain critical web-based applications and backend services that support their vital operations. This is an opportunity to join a team dedicated to delivering secure, scalable, and production-ready software solutions using modern technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy web applications and backend services
• Utilize Python, FastAPI, ReactJS, PostgreSQL, Docker, and AWS cloud technologies
• Collaborate closely with engineers, product owners, analysts, and stakeholders in an Agile environment
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from sprint planning to deployment
• Contribute to trunk-based development workflows and perform code reviews
• Troubleshoot application defects, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum 7 years of software development experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing enterprise web applications using Python and JavaScript frameworks
• Demonstrated experience with Python, FastAPI, ReactJS, PostgreSQL, Docker, and Git-based source control
• Experience deploying and supporting applications in AWS cloud environments
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments with a focus on secure coding practices
