Role Overview

Infilla is a San Francisco-based GovTech company on a mission to help more housing get built by modernizing how government agencies handle permitting. We build cloud-based software that replaces outdated, manual processes with something that actually works — for the agencies running it and the residents and businesses waiting on it. We’re an early-stage team doing work with real stakes: the kind where what you ship actually changes how government functions.

What You Will Do

• Build and maintain mission-critical features using React, Remix, and Node.js to streamline the permitting process for major US cities and states.
• Collaborate directly with government staff and stakeholders to understand complex regulatory requirements and translate them into elegant software solutions.
• Architect scalable infrastructure on AWS and help establish engineering best practices for a rapidly growing product handling significant customer demand.

Who This Is A Fit For

• Has at least 2 years of professional experience building full-stack products with a high level of proficiency in React and TypeScript.
• Possesses a product-minded approach, caring deeply about user experience and finding creative, pragmatic ways to ship high-quality software quickly.
• Demonstrates curiosity about AI integration, including experience using AI tools to enhance development velocity and exploring agentic architecture patterns.
