Full stack Lead Developer

6-month+ contract role with a top-4 US professional-services firm.

About the role

Fully remote (WFH) Senior Tech Lead position responsible for designing, building, and operating a modern serverless data platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and hands-on development of serverless compute pipelines using AWS Lambda and AWS Step Functions.
• Design and implement data processing workflows on Databricks, DynamoDB, and Amazon S3.
• Build and maintain GraphQL APIs with AWS AppSync.
• Develop and optimize search experiences using Amazon OpenSearch.
• Deliver responsive front-end applications with React, TypeScript, Vite, and AWS Cloudscape.
• Define and enforce infrastructure-as-code patterns with Terraform (per-service stacks plus shared common layer).
• Automate CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions that include linting, unit/integration testing, Bandit security scanning, and deployment.
• Establish Python tooling standards using invoke, Black, Flake8, Pylint, pytest, and AWS Lambda Powertools.
